The Crofthouse Cabin

Our Crofthouse Cabin is a beautiful purpose built  holiday cabin built out of Larch and is centrally heated and fully insulated to the highest standard. It is perfectly situated in Stockinish next to our Crofthouse and looks out over the Minch sea and the pretty working harbour below where you can buy fish from the local fishermen.

The self catering accommodation sleeps 2 adults in a double bed. Set in its own private  ground and in the desirable Bays area on the east coast of the isle of Harris. Its perfectly positioned for a holiday of peace and tranquility and in the summer the sun shines on the Cabin from dawn to dusk.

The Calmac ferry port of Tarbert is only 10 minutes away where there are local amenities and the ferry terminal back to Uig on the Isle of Skye. 

The Cabin is well located for both the beautiful east coast of Harris and the west coast beaches of Luskentyre and Seilebost are a 10 minute drive away.

Our Cabin is decorated tastefully with bright white pine cladding and a solid wood floor. There is a comfortable double bed and sofa and fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, ceramic hob, belfast sink with hardwood tops and a fridge freezer. There is a stereo, WIFI internet and Sky Tv. At the rear of the Cabin is the neat and well equipped bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. To the front is a newly build large sun deck to relax on.

Our Tariff varies throughout the year depending upon the seasons, the amount of visitors to the Island and the demand.

All prices are on a per week basis and bookings run from Saturday at 4pm to 10am the following Saturday.

Visitors are requested not to arrive before these times or leave any later as the Cabin has to be cleaned and changed for the next guests to arrive.

Throughout the winter it is possible to book for extended stays at reduced prices

To book the Cabin please contact us at  the email below and we can book the dates for you.  We require a £100 deposit to book the Pod and full payment including a refundable £100 major damages deposit 6 weeks before arrival.

We prefer bank transfer but it is also possible to pay by Paypal.
